Water paintings

In this series, I revisit the idea of Ophelia, not as a fragile woman undone by love, but as someone who finds strength in solitude. The oil paintings show women floating and swimming in water, still wearing flowing dresses, calm and self-contained. Here, water becomes a place of reflection and renewal rather than danger, a supportive space where the figures are held, steady, and quietly confident.
